About The Artist
Lisa McElroy Born 1964, San Francisco, CA Lisa is a mixed-media collage and assemblage artist whose work has been shown in galleries and museums, including at The de Young Open 2023. She is also a musician and filmmaker. Her illustrations were animated for the feature film 39 ½, directed by Kara Herold. She co-wrote and illustrated Herold’s live-action/animated comedy short, The Callback, currently screening at international film festivals.
