About The Artist
Jill McLennan is a professional painter and teaching artist, who lives in Oakland. She works for the Museum of Children’s Art in Oakland and the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. She is a member of Mercury 20 Gallery and Jingletown Arts and Businesses Community in her neighborhood. As both an artist and a teacher she is deeply invested in protecting her environment, inspiring the youth and spreading hope and joy into her world.
