About The Artist
After completing this etching, I discovered that Alice Walker's book, "In Search of Our Mother's Gardens," contains an essay, "Beyond the Peacock" that talks about the exact landscape where I drew my "Miss O'Connor's Farm, Milledgeville" etching with the kudzu covering the trees and the cows and that she had found it a place of beauty also. I have been making etchings and engravings and paintings since the sixties. I do both close studies of nature and abstract work.
