Flannery O'Connor

I am originally from Milledgeville, Georgia and had seen this landscape since I was a little girl and knew it to be a farm where a famous writer also from Milledgeville lived and worked. And as a teenager, I had once been there to practice riding a donkey for a Christmas pageant which was held inside the First Methodist Church, but I never met the author although I had read many of her works. I came to draw this landscape because I had remembered it as a place of beauty but I was also attracted to draw it because I was entranced with the coincidence that Flannery lived and worked there.
